Just bought my first ls1
just let me start of by saying this site is great i get a lot of good info here, just 3 days ago i bought a 2002 camaro ss with only 13,948 miles off of a 45 year old guy who hardly drove it. i only paid $18,000 for it. i have allways loved these cars good looking + fast perfect combo. the car is completely stock to, the only thing is that it is a a4 and i really wanted a m6 but for the price and miles i couldnt complain. im thinking of slp load mouth + k&n fipk + hypertech next week what do you guys think. good combo or should i go with something else first.

Welcome! Glad you found this site. Lots of great info and people here. Considering you have an A4, this is what i would do:
1)Pacesetter Long tube headers and tsp off-road y-pipe
2)Torque Converter( Brand and stall rate is something you should look into depending on your goals with the car)
3)Lid( Brands dont matter, all the same
4)Cutout
5)Tranny cooler
6)Shift-kit
7)Nitto drag radials
8)Subframe connectors
This would be a nice start imo. Seems like you found a really good deal. Also, don't get the programmer. Big waste of money. Get a professional tune.
HTH-Good Luck!

Congrats on the purchuse! Those are some really low miles.
Loud Mouth is a good choice. The FIPK kit is also a good choice but a little to pricey IMO. I would just go with a lid instread. Hypertech is pretty much a waste of money, used that money to get a ported tb some pulleys and a ram air kit...FTRA or SSRA (using the money that you saved with out going with the hypertech and FIPK)
Thats just my opinion though
Also read up on this sticky - lots and lots of good info : https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=139142

P.S. Dont get loudmouth catback if you plan on getting longtube headers in the future. Unless you want your exhaust to be loud and obnoxious beyond belief. If thats the case...then go for it! If you are going to get headers then think about Hooker, GMMG, Magnaflow catback systems. Those seem to be the most popular and sound much better than the loudmouth when you get headers installed.

the loud mouth is ok until you throw in long tubes....or you could always turn it into a borlamouth....but i would say gmmg or corsa for a deep aggressive sound thats not overly annoying..skip the fipk and get a lid and ftra and k&n....forget the hypertech its a waste of money...had one on the tahoe and it was a waste of money..hrow in a 160 stat and get a tune and definitely get soe sub frame connectors....that would be your best start....and great deal on a low mileage car...seems like you got a perfect mod car to start on..good luck welcome

Converter, cooler and DRs first. Very big difference there. Then subframes and catback, lid. I have the loudmouth and with the converter it gets very loud and I don't have headers yet. Gonna make it a borlamouth with I get the headers installed. Good luck and congrats.

welcome to the site and congrats on your purchase!
you won't believe the power of the car or how much you'll 'bond' with it. i've had my 2000 WS6 for close to 6 years now, and it's been the greatest experience.
