I would def get a cam and and think about a nice set of heads down the road. But a I would start saving for a 9" and some 3.73's cuz whats the use of having a car if its broken and you can't even drive it.

I priced a cam/spring install and just labor was over $1000, so add parts and that $1800 sounds about right.

well, if u plan on keeping your car as a mainly dd street car, id go with suspension over anything else. Cam and heads to me are good if u plan on going to the track a decent amount. Why have all that hp just to say u have it??doesnt make sense to me. I would go with a nice set of shocks(Bilsteins if u plan on keeping the stock springs, konis if u plan on getting aftermarket springs), front/rear swaybars, SFC's and a panhard rod. since u already have exhaust, u have performance as well as a throaty sound. If u want louder, get a cutout, very cheap. If u insist on hp, go with a cam. just my .02

Greek- I am keeping this car forever, she's going to be a garage queen starting next summer, so I plan on building plenty of power so it can whoop some *** when it needs to. As far as the suspension goes and the mods you listed I already have BMR PHR, SFC, LCA, 1LE FSB along with Bilstein HD shocks all the way around.

Since you are a M6, and a D.D., go for a good shifter, Torque arm that mounts to the Subframe. Get it off the tailshaft of the Trans. Get a ported Throttle Body. A good clutch would be needed to support comming Mods. If you are happy with the power, go for some suspension upgrades and some of the last bolt-ons. A tunning program would be good to start out with at this stage also. If you can learn it, it will optimise what you have and can be used for all comming mods.
For a CAM, that would eat up all your money. It would be a good powerwise choice though.
I guess it's up to what you like doing more. Cornering, or Straightline. Suspension is important to cornering well, power is the absolute for speed. BUT for 1/4 mile work, suspension is just as important.

Which torque arms don't mount to the rear end? What are good choices and in what price range? As far as shifter I have a LSS and I AM VERY HAPPY with how it has improved my shifting. Don't feel the need for a pro 5 or anything like that, LSS has helped out alot.
