I am going tomorrow to test drive a '03 FRC. Is there anything special I should be looking for? It has 27k mi, auto, red w/blk int - asking $31,800. My options are to mod my WS6 or spend the $8k on a corvette. It will be a daily driver. Any input is appreciated!

if its a "fixed roof coupe", then its a Z06. but since its an auto it cant be a Z06. my guess is that its removable glass car.
i would build up a forged 402 and put a turbo on your ws6.

You are wrong they make fixed roof coupes without being a z06. However, all z06's are FRC's. Personally I wouldn't spend the money on the corvette. If I were you and you wanted a corvette, there is nothing wrong with an 01. I don't even think they are any differences besides a few thousand dollars in price.

I was looking at/test drove a Black '99 M6 FRC...very hot car. The previous owner of my Camaro has a White '99 FRC C5. I don't believe I've seen an FRC after 99 that was not a Z06...
Anyways, here's the FRC I drove. The back window/Trunk is very different from the removable roof C5's...

The non Z06 FRCs were only made in 1999 and 2000. All of them were six speeds. They came with the same 345hp LS1 as the coupe and convertible 99s and 00s.
