need to know!

I have just recently bought a 2002 Camaro z-28. 20k miles.
Its stock ls-1.
i see the ls-6 intake...is that on a later version of the ls-1?
also i hear about a ported TB.Will that fit on my stock intake?
& what does the Ported tb add performance wise?
I am trying to learn a bit but getting frustrated with all the diff manifolds & other stuff!!(lol)

Dumb questions but i dont know so i figured id ask!Thanks alot!

Also how do i add my pic of my car in my posts.I could read more but figured id ask since im asking !!!(hehehe)

There is a free mod for the TB. I cant find the websight off hand, maybee one of the other guys has it laying around. 20K miles is really low. Hope you got a good price on it too. Welcome

Hey GetIn&Go to answer ur question ur car comes with the Ls6 intake starting from 01 to 02.. u have a Tb on ur car to start with what ur reffering to is to POrt it .. just means basicaly to smooth it out inside and make it a bit bigger inside to allow better AIR FLOW to enter the intake. Ported TB i have see claims of up to 5BBH on a 01

thanks guys for the help!Got my car for 9900 bucks.Its loaded & its that sunset orange metallic!Love the color!Still gotta figure out how to load my pic on here!
Hey ill check out the NW regional forum!I live in Bellingham & we are starting a new car club here mostly v-8 street rods!Looking forward to the track at Mission BC opening in the spring!Im getting a built 4L60E put in by the end of the week hopefully!!!Got a few rice burners i gotta tame down!!My son has a 95 camaro & were doing this for fun together!!
