Serging

My car is serging while driving normal driving I will be cruising along and I will fill a slit like lac of power, a small jerk, and will look at the RPM's and they will 100-200 RPM's anybody else have a problem like that before any one have a clue what it could be? Please HELP thanks in advance

Is it stock? What kind of car is it.. More info on what you are driving would help. Just a thought but add some info in your sig so people can see. Cool?

It is a 99' Z28 only mods on it right now is the free ram air mods, waiting on my 3.73 gears to get here and LCA's but thats it for now.

I know that some of the H/C cars get serging or bucking.. But like a jerking motion while driving and under a slide pedal increase. I had that one time and ended up changing out my fuel filter. How many miles are on it?

sorry i'm a newb what is an H/C car?
I was thinking about changing the fuel filter I know it hasnt been changed in about 13-14 months. But about the time I go to do something about it. It quits and want do it for awhile and bam their it is back agin.
