Default Looking To Upgrade

I have a 1998 Z28 M6 with 150k, and I am looking to upgrade. I have found a white 1998 SS with 62k for $14,000. It does have a supercharger, bigger injectors, full exhaust, suspension upgrades, and is exceptionally clean. Is that a fair price. I bought my 1998 new, and really do not know about buying cars with mods already on them. My car is silver, and I would like to find a silver or pewter to replace mine with, but those in a M6 seems very hard to find. I am only looking to spend no more than 12-14K at the most. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks..

Why not just build up the one you have?
For 12-14k I'd say that'd be a pretty killer ride. if you modded yours
The problem with buying a car already modded is you never know what shortcuts were taken, and if the mods were done properly, not to mention the obvious issue of how was the car treated after the mods

I am afraid I would have to replace too many items when I start modding heavily. I have only done lid, Kooks header and Ypipe, 3in exhaust from y pipe back, Konig Monsoons, Eibach springs, and new clutch, flywheel. My thought process is if I can find one with less miles than mine, then I would not have to replace interior items, and steering componets. Mine is in good shape, but just has a lot of miles, most hwy. Actually the past two years the car has had less than 10k put on it, so the 140K was put on it in the first 5 years. Am I being silly, or just too concerned over the littel stuff. Thanks for the input.

I'd say you're being a little to concerned over basically minor stuff, if the car currently rides and drives ok (no wandering, loose steering etc) then I see no reason to get rid of it and get another.
For the money you have to buy another car, you could have one hell of a ride once you're finished.
You can find the interior items on Ebay, or even the classified ads here, and it sounds like you have a pretty good list of mods so far, and if they don't fit the future plans, sell them.
Once you finish building it you'd pretty much have a new car, at least mechanically

Ive been in the same boat with my Z28 for awhile now...sell and get into something, or keep and wait for something to come to me?

Getting it stock with low miles on them. and working them up yourself.. i think i just like relationship you go threw with the car for the time you have it..i like it. Other then Just buying a Worked LS1 & start killing it the 1st day you have it & not knowing the risks that might have been taken when this car was being buit and its USEAGE.
