Probably anywhere from 12.5 to 13.5 depending on skill, traction (tires), and your particular car (model year, health of the motor, etc.).

BIGGER STALL. 2400 is a waste for an LS1. 3500 or bigger should be manditory.

Gain over what? Over stock? Not sure on car lenghts, but if you do nothing but add a 3500 stall and some sticky tires, you should drop a good .5 sec. or more off your ET.

I'd suggest to spend some time in the auto trans section researching which stall is best for you. There are quite a few brands, and many stall speeds to choose from (however I would recommend you skip any stall lower than 3500) to fit various bugets and goals.

What I can tell you is, just about everyone (planning to drag race) that goes with a stall lower than 3500 will regret it and want more later. Keep that in mind when picking your setup.

Good luck.

i came here because youre a newbie in need of help.
how did i know?
two things= "2400 stall" and "SLP" i dont know which is worse
but the loudmouth is all-right

our torque peak is around 4400rpm.
the closer your stall speed is to your torque peak,
the faster you'll be.

get it as loose as you can tolerate.
test drive our cars to find out how much stall you're willing to put up with.

unless youre building it up for street racing..
then you might want to limit your STR
high-stall on the street = driving sideways

I agree that 2400 stall and LS1 motor do not belong together, but there is nothing wrong with SLP in general. They have some great products, only thing I don't care for from them are their LS1 F-body headers.
