Question need advice on this car!!!

02 6spd ram air for $16000 would you buy it or no? i looked at it in person and didnt see anything really wrong with it but i want your advice. thx
This hatchback has had 3 owners and was owned in Texas. It was originally registered by the owner for personal use.
It was sold at a salvage auction. Most vehicles sold at these auctions have sustained significant damage but there are some exceptions.
It was severely damaged and issued a Junk and Salvage title by a DMV. It was later issued a Rebuilt title by a Texas DMV, which allows for the vehicle to be repaired and returned to the road.
It has not been reported by a DMV as having an Exceeds Mechanical Limits or Not Actual Mileage title.
It has a consistent mileage history with no indication of an odometer rollback. It was driven an average of 10,220 miles per year, which is lower than the industry average of 15,000. The last odometer reading, reported on 07/05/2005, was 29,528 miles.
It was not reported by a DMV as a Manufacturer Buyback or LEMON.
Its original manufacturer warranty was voided after it was severely damaged.

You did not say what car it was. But for $16K, you can get an 01/02 f-body in great shape.

Definitely pass, especially if you're in Houston buying that thing man. I got my SS from Beck & Masten for right around 17,000 after a shitty trade-in (94 4runner) and it only had 17,300 miles on it and one owner. Way too many things about this deal sound really shady(3 owners, salvage sale, etc).

I bought my 02 Z in Nov 03 and it was a salvage title (flood car). It only had 18k miles on it and had the interior totally replaced. Even with all that I only paid 9500. Mine only came with a slavage title so I had to work with the state to get a reconstructed title which took about 3 months to sort out.

I'd say 16K is WAY TOO MUCH for that car.

Good luck!
