and make sure you do your homework before you start buy'n anything outside your basic bolt on items. I'll save up a little more and get a head and cam package. and enough for the tune, stall, and bolt ons... 11 secs equals about 6 grand and up. Without the dope on your car. I run a 150 dry shot...but im in the 11's High 11's

You're only in the high 11's with a h/c/stalled/n20 combo? I'd shoot myself.
Leave the MAF alone.

it's easy to get into the 11's with under 2 grand.
rip off your doors, hatch and hood, have it replaced with super smooth, aerodynamic styrophome, then, rip out all your seats and replace them with egg crates. when you're finally done that, rip out your air bags, air conditioner, your AIR system and all that. rip out your carpet. cut off your entire exhaust and run open manifolds. oh yea, you may wanna replace your windows and windshields with plastic wrap.
you'll have a car that weighs like 2000 lbs by then.
then get a 4500 stall, drag radials and a lid. launch the **** outta it.

The combo of a SLP MAF and a 150 dry shot is scary at best.

I have some questions about exhaust. I have magnaflow. What is true duels, first of all. Also if I don't have true duels, should I go with headers and a y-pipe or duels with the x or h-pipe. What are the cost comparisons between the two and which will show greater results vs. cost.

oop, forgot to ask. I read the simple mods link, and an overview for my car went something like:lid, catback exhaust, stall, headers & mid pipe, rear gears, ported throttle body, and tune. Where does cam mods fit, and also when should I start modifying the suspension, chassis, and fuel injection system?

The few mods I have cut almost 8 tenths off my ET. I went from 13.60s@105 to 12.88 @ 108 and thats on shitty street tires. I've got a 3600 2.2 STR Fuddle stall on order and i'm going with some longtubes and DRs and hoping for bottom 12's. I estimate i've spent $700 on mods excluding the converter.
