And how can a tight clutch break your rear end when ya break the tires loose? It's the traction that causes the stress.
Glad I aint the only one who can't spin em in second....need more tourque I guess.

hmm in my 84 z28 i could chirp 5th if i wanted on the 100$ 245's , and on my ss when i had shitty 275's on i could spin all of 1st 2nd and 3rd on the stock clutch powershifting... going 90 in third making tire smokes kinda dangerous and scary though... car doesnt like to stay straight if your in third. damn drifter influences... reason my 450hp z28 only ran a 1,2,3,traction issues- 14 in the qm for its fastest run at 119mph...my first try (not letting off to get traction)= to a 16.5et ... it spun 1st 2nd and some of third ( i was letting of the gas to try and get traction) think that car would smoke my ss if it had 285 drag radials. but id say its probly clutch problems. my ss only had lid and catback last time i spun em to 90.

Sounds like the 25's ain't cuttin loose for ya. That's a good thing, now from a dead stop, pu ti tin second anddrop the clutch. Not if your clutch is bad though, because if it's shot, you won't get home after this, but if it/s good, it makes for an interesting show
