Which Gas?

If this is in the wrong thread, I'm sorry. I'm new here. On to the question. I just picked up a 99 Z28. Of course it has the LS1. What are you supposed to run for gas in this engine? I assume premium (~92 octane here) but most of it around here is labled "non-oxygenated- for collecter vehicles, boats". is this what I should run or should I drop down to super (~90 octane). thanks for the help. sorry so long.
Cliffs notes:
what octane gas? premium says "non-oxygenated"? HELP.

thank you very much White95. that is what i was looking for. i knew i was going to hear 93+ from most people, just wasn't sure about the non-oxygenated thing. i guess i should have been more clear on that. thanks to all who replied.

an LS1 with stock compression requires 91 octane. due to your ECU's fuel tables, it will run poorly/lose power if you put less than 91 octane. however, it will NOT GAIN POWER or run any better OR GAIN FUEL ECONOMY if you put in anything above 91 - THIS IS NOT DEBATABLE, it's science. anything else is a waste of money (unless your car pings on 91 for some reason).
octane is not a power adder. it is a detonation supressor. use 91, it's all it needs. anything else is a waste of money.
