Default Trans Am/WS6 Front seat question

Every other Trans Am/WS6 I see has the plastic side features on the side of the back part of the front seat, mine does not. It is leather all the way around I was wondering if anyone else had this?

Mine do not look like this, I have no plastic ribbed stuff on the side.
Mine look like this.

I never saw a T/A of any kind with those seats, so I'd like to know as well.

Those are non-lumbar seats.

Peace,
Craig.

Mine has those seats as well, you are the only other person that I've seen with them. I think they don't have adjustable lumbar. Maybe they are the super lightweight, ultra rare oem racing seat.

They look SOOO MUCH better than the regular seats. I was gonna go with formy ebony cloth seats for my car, now I may go with those, are they super rare?

Dude, calm down on the e-brake, do you get into the back seat to get it up that high?

Ha, here is the readers digest version...I had a Moser 12 bolt which I broke twice...Sold it complete, so the backing plates on the stock 10 bolt came off a car with well over 100,000 miles on it, so I need to adjust them. Just haven't had the chance.
I was waiting for someone to say something

My seats are the same way. No ribbed plastic things on the sides, they are leather/vinyl all around. I like it better actually.

So it was the "lumbar" seats that had the ribbs?? Meaning you could actually adjust the curvature of the back part of the seat??

I like the lumbar better, just my $.02. I even put a set of those in my SS.

It's a dual lumbar, one two way button adjusts the sides in or out, and the other two way button pushes your lower back in or out. AND, both front seats have the lumbar. Best stock seats in any f-body, IMHO!

Peace,
Craig.

My 2000 had the non-lumbar seats. They were horrible and was one of the reasons we got rid of that car. The adjustable lumbar seats are worlds better IMHO

Ribbed seats are the good AQ9 (i think?) Trans am seats.

The non lumbar seats are available in all other pontiacs, including some TA's. They're not "rare"
