90k miles now, bought it with 42k.
Front Rotors warped at 60,000. Slider pins on front calipers seized as well.
Camshaft position sensor at 51k miles. Camshaft position sensor again at 55k miles, made the mechanic pay for his own labor and put a GM part in it(cause he didn't orginally even though I told him to).
Knock sensor at 88k.
Monsoon speakers blew up.
Pinion seal.
Power window motors are slowin down.
Bubbles on the roof.
Paint chipped off the leading edge of the hood, and this isn't the first Camaro I've seen like this.
Headlights turned yellow.
Its still been very reliable for me though.

2002 SS
Mileage: 3,000
Never had to replace anything on it.
1993 Camaro base 3.4L
Mileage: 130,000
1) water pump (around 100,000)
2) battery at (around 60,000)
Everything else is ALL original. I consider the battery to be an expendable maintenance item. So basically after 130,000 miles only the water pump failed.
Please note that the normal wear & tear items have been replaced: tires, brakes, various bulbs, etc.
Car is all original and starts every morning for the past 13 years.
I never have anything wrong with my cars-my 1993 LT1 Z28 either. After several year of racing the only thing it need was an optispark and window track arm. All three 4 gen cars I have were bullet proof..espcially that LT1.
Only the liberal biased asswipes of Consumer Reports with their red and black dots have problems with GM cars.

2002 Z28. 55K miles, bought used so I have no idea what has died. It just killed the front yoke and U-joint. Gotta love the GM Certified Used program. I believe the power windows go out because the motors get overworked by going too far up. That could also be the source of the door bulging.

2000SS currently at 39K and yes it is a garage queen.
1. Rotors at 12K;
2. Drivers side Cat went at 18K
3. Window on pass side
4. Battery never went out but did leak + side causing me to have to replace the cable. Never let the Delco's stay after they turn 4-5y/old
5. Front Monsoon speakers; After the second time I left them in so all can experience GM greatness
6. Roof is bubbled all to hell and ozzing out something from the holes; GM told me "tough luck" so I also am leaving this as is so all can experience GM in its greatness. GM shuold be completly embarrassed about this. If they had fixed it my next two cars might not had been Nissans.
7. Front window cracked down the middle after I shut the drivers door. Really hot day probably caused it. I used to live in south Texas.
8. Now oil consuption is just a complaint but not something we as customers should have to deal with, even if it is a minority of LS1's. To all who do not know this the VQ3.5 Maximas also have it. I have a 2003 and it does the same exact thing the LS1 does.

Sold mine with like 103k.. Had basic stuff.. tires/brakes/alignment.
passenger side window motor.
Had a 1999:
At 20k power window motor and warped front rotors, at 30k tranny (lots of powershifting and launches on slicks).. That was about it, really.
Peace,
Josh
