There is no such thing as a WS7. Some people put it on their car to indicate that it is not a real WS6, even if it has the hood, wheels, spoiler, etc.

i'd prefere having the WS7 badges over the WS6 badges on a clone, cuss playing a clone off as a original has to be a sin against man kind.

Thats a matter of opinion, in my mind since theres no real performance difference betwen a Z28/SS or a TA/WS6 it doesnt really matter to much. But putting Z28/SS badges on a V6 is total ******* gay. (or cobra badges on a GT, ect...)

How about a Z28 with the badges removed and the V6 RS looking ground effects, with no easily visible exhaust? People think it's a V6 while parked....my car domain poll has over 50% of respondants (out of ~170 votes) saying they would think it was a V6 if the engine was off.

To view more pictures and vote in the poll click the "complete mod list" in my sig line.

This kid around here has a '99 Mustang V6, and he bought the whole Cobra body kit (03-04), so it looks JUST like a Cobra, until you walk around back, and see a fake chrome exhaust pipe out one side, and the rusty old V6 exhaust turn-down pipe on the other side. It was really funny.

I concur. I figure that if you have a Z, and you replicate the SS package, you aren't going to get that much talk about it. A purist will see differences, roof color, interior, etc.; But since most people who invest that kind of money on the exterior have already hit any other SS parts, such as suspension and exhaust, they've surpassed stock for stock performance, so why not. Now if it were me, I'd still tell people it was an SS clone.

BTW, anyone hear about the new proposal for the Z07 vette? Bumped displacement + Supercharger = expected 650 hp. Replaces the idea of the Blue devil or Sting Ray. Not a fan of the body kit/wheel combo they're suggesting though. I like the idea of the 100k price tag though, 'cause that means I won't have to worry much about running into them!

I believe putting the badges on the vehicle, when it is not the real thing, IS playing it off as the real thing no matter what you tell people who may ask. Which is why I believe in cloning the looks but leaving the badges alone, removing them and allowing people to wonder or using a badge such as WS7. Besides, it would be funny as heck to confuse the crap out of everybody who wonders what the hell a WS7 is.

I like confusing people.

just remember that some people might take it the wrong way when selling it thinking your trying to pull a fast one on them and sell it as more.
