Cheap Speed
Hey guys, just like it sounds, i wanna get the car movin for the best price. in other words, what mods would u guys reccomend for best bang for my buck if ya will.
i got headers, ory, lid, and cai. im trying to stay away from the idea of having a stall but other than that im open. i was looking into 3.73 gears but i got a 2 series and i heard thick gears whine and arent worth it. what ya guys think?
thanks

Rippin, honestly dude, you are gonna have to eventually get a stall. THere is such a huge ******* difference it is not even funny. Start reading through all the posts in the Automatic tranny section. If you drive an auto and want it to be fast...you HAVE TO HAVE A CONVERTER. I mean come on, seeing gains anywhere from 4 tenths to a full ******* second just from a converter!! that is wicked. I have a Yank SS3600 for my daily driven 02 SS and WISH i would have went to a 4000. 6 spd cars cant really **** with you at all from a launch...you will rape most all of them. And then guys with stock autos....haha forget about it.

i'm gonna vote for a ported throttle body and if you're a 98-00, an LS6 intake.
