ive got the LM but im going to give it up for a true dual x-pipe setup. gonna use borla mufflers too. i have nothing against it, but i just bought long tubes and kinda tired of the drone on the highway at 50 and above. i did one time have a ricer tell me it sounded visoush after pulling five lengths on him.

i just bought long tube headers and im going to have to part with my loud mouth. im going to go with a true dual x-pipe with borla mufflers. i have nothing against the exhaust but im a little tired of the drone on the highway. i did one time have a VW tell me it sounded visoush. gonna miss it but maybe my turn downs will be better.

To each their own.

Personally I would rather shoot myself in the foot than run the loudmouth without cats.

I had the loudmouth for a year and a half and liked it....until I got headers. Ripped that SOB off and had the duals installed. Couldn't be happier.

I ran the loudmouth with stock manifolds/cats for a year and a half and liked it.

Then I installed longtubes with no cats , ripped it off and had duals installed. Couldn't be happier.

Right on about the LM being nice with stock headers, but after the LTs are on the feds and the neighbors don't appreciate the performance sound. Wish I could buy a stock Z28 and just have a LM system on it to DD, miss the cold start ups and the highway blasts.

LMs sound nice, but I prefer Magnaflow's sound.

get the TD's out the back man! get your TD's extended out to the bumper, cut the tips off your loudmouth and it'll be like nothing changed. then sell the loudmouth w/o tips for $100-$150. someone will buy it

Your stock exhaust is only clamped (Band Clamp) to the back of the cat, so it can be undone from there, but you will have to cut the rest out, to get it out of the car. And the LM bolts in, no welding needed.

I love my SLP Loudmouth and so does my 427SS!

Everyone will bitch about the sound after they get LT's and an ORY, but just get the Borla Xr-1 bullit muffler to replace the resonator:

I have no cut-outs and my 427 put 545rwhp & 520rwtq down going all the way through the Borla-Mouth tips.

Besides the Loudmouth being one of the best free flowing exhaust cat-backs out there, they have to be the one lightest out there, if not the lightest.
Peace,
Craig.
