Mine was limited at 160 on the stock parameters with Z rated tires.

Good highways. I've "only" gone 150 twice...I honestly don't need to do it again, so I am content with my 160 mph limiter lol. Now, 118...that would be a different story.

mines limited at 118 (till the tune ) but honestly i have no need/desire to do 130+ on a public road. I would however like to go to the texas mile one day when i get the funds to slap a procharger on there.

Yea, texas mile is one thing. Then I will deff hit those speeds. As far as public roads...I was a dumb Teenager (still am, kinda). I don't think it is worth it anymore. 120 racing someone is one thing..but that is it. Only time I will see those speeds. 90 is the most I go in a 75 now lol. I'll cruise to Tucson at 90 mph, but not really faster, unless its a mad straight..then 120, then slow it back down.

i couldnt imagine mine shutting down at 118! as soon as it did, i would pull over and order a tune IMMEDIATLY.

haha, if it was that big of a deal to me, yea, but like i said, its not. I wouldn't want to go any faster than that on stock suspension anyhow, much less on a public highway when all it takes is someone to change lanes, and your fucked.

That is why you do it when there is no one on the highway

I've had mine around 168 with z rated tires and mods in sig, we used gps to get the accurate mph, was still pulling slightly but i let off.....faster than i need to go

Wow, mine is weird. I'll be going 50mph and punch it and when it hits 120mph I have to take my foot off the gas for it to shift then it shifts. It then reaches 129mph and starts to slow down. I have a hp tuners tune and my tuner boosted my tranny line pressure, could that be the problem?

I have hit 135 before and don't know why I cant do it anymore.....

my guess it's because you're shifting into overdrive.


to everyone replying, any of the numbers an auto car, it doesnt say? and any #s for a 4.11 auto?

If you have 4.11 gears and you didn't correct the computer for the change in gear ratio then you will hit the speed limiter sooner. Your speedometer will read the same but you will be going slower. And if you had the parameters changed the for the gear ratio then was the speed limiter raised at the same time?

150 was at 11 at night....less traffic lol. But I did hit 140 at like 3pm on I10 once, and my friends radar I was borrowing went off...slowed it the **** down, and we came up to traffic QUICK, at 70 mph. Traffic was going under 25 on the highway due to an accident miles up...If I was doing double the speed still...it could have turned BAD.

i have no idea, i bought it used. i should basically do a gps speedo test right?

That would be a good way to find out. Or use one of those radar signs.
