and I got mine within 3 days of ordering it

You cant mess up this install...unless you are a klutz like me and drop one of the lock washers down under the carpet pad and you push it down further each time you try to grab it, but its all good cuz i had some extra
You will love it!

Here are some pics and install write-up from my WS6store short stick install. Piece of cake! It will shift a LOT better. Do you have a factory Hurst also? I've read of some sticks hitting the console if you didn't have the factory Hurst. Though I can't verify that. Good luck! ![Thumb](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/thumb.gif)

With just the short stick, you DO NOT need to remove the entire console as stated in the Install University write up. Only if you are swapping out your entire shifter. 10 minutes tops to do just the stick.

get a pro 5.0 shifter. it will stop the console pounding plus it will save youre shift forks. you dont want to bend your shift forks.
got mine at speed performance for $175 thats speed performance.com . yep, you can slam it all you want then.
they got short throws and standard length.

is bending the shift forks a big deal or can I get a 5.0 a little down the road? I just ordered the ws6store short stick. I'm on basically no budget at the moment or else I would.

I have a feeling that the only reason mine hits is because it is the basic shifter. Are there really any benefits to the HURST option over the standard shifter with a short stick. Meaning, is the travel distance less between (for instance) 1st and 2nd gear? Thereby, shortening the throw more than the shifter handle, alone.
