Just don't be stupid with it, I'm always "stupid at low speeds" lol and it has worked out well for me it's not like the car is THAT fast.
I'm 19 and I've driven all kinds of stupid fast cars and I've never even been pulled over so it's not impossible.
Congrats man you're lucky, just show respect to your parents and don't be stupid in it.

Just be smart and enjoy the car. My first car was a 68 Camaro SS/RS 396 The car had the original 375 hp 396 4 speed and 3.73 posi rear end. i will be honest I got my first ticket in this car the day after I got my license at 15.
here is a picture of the car right after we painted it in 1980
Sometimes $hit does happen and its not the kids fault. I was driving down a small side street and an elderly lady ran a stop sign in a Buick Wildcat and hit me broadside
The car was fixed and thankfully 27 years later I still own it. The car is parked right now awaiting a restoration but here are a coulple of recent pics One day I will pass it on to my oldest daughter.
Have fun and enjoy your car,
Nick

I just came across this thread and have one word of advice that seems to have mentioned a few times already.
DO NOT GET A SPEEDING TICKET!!!! It will ruin your car ownership experience for years to come.
Enjoy that ride and keep it between the lines. It takes while to get used to. I'm 32 and have been away from the big V8 for a while. When I bought my vette the power just amazed me. I had that sucker sideways a few times.

Yep... he wrecked it:

Granted, this was two years after he got the car. However, I can't say I'm in agreement with giving a 15 year old an LS1 car.
