Really? Where do you get this info from? I am been on a stock engine since March 2005 (pushing 10 psi) with no issues.

Well when this kid puts a procharger, and doesnt know everything about its supporting mods and blows up his motor than i guess you will be the one to blame. Im just suggesting the usual h/c for a beginer.

You order the parts? BTW, single cam, two heads, not a single head. What heads/cam combo you planning on running? Personally I'd get used to the car a little first, but to each their own. Let us know how it goes.

BTW who is your mechanic Cougar? Is he experienced dealing with LSx engines? If not there are some sponsors in your area, such as Arizona Power and Sound, who are very experienced with LSx engines...I only mention this because ive seen some rediculously bad hack jobs done by random performance shops who claim to know how to work with these engines. Let us know what you choose prior to purchasing your parts as the right combo is a must for making maximum power.

well its a dearship that sells old muscle cars and new one. its called bromm heres they're website http://brommautooutlet.com/ most of them are built in the back of they're shop. i would trust them 2 work on it. i will be looking into the sponsors and have them do future work. the mechanic that is doing the job is really good. i test drove one of they're drag cars sunday and that thing was quick. he did all the work on it.

planning on just doing bolt on for now except for the heads/cam. i would get bored if i had something slow and would hate to get bored with this car. plus the wife says we're having a baby soon so i cant get bored with this car or i wont be able 2 get another one anytime soon.

look man in all honesty....your gonna blow several thousands of dollars (full bolt ons, h/c combo, rearend, tranny work, and labor).....if you can do that, have fun....other wise your car can be fun ....for now....with just bolt ons, that you can do.....like others have said its up to you....just know whats up

well i'm sure there is still tons of things i can do 2 it in the future and i know it would be fun 2 drive around for now but i got tired of my 3000GT really quick. there is still things like brakes, rotors, pads, tranny, rearend, suspension and tons left 2 to do to the motor. i know when i get this done i'll be happy with it for a while. well til the bug bites me again.
