Thats cool and as long as they know what the are doing and know how to tune an EFI Ls1 car then by all means go with them. BTW I dunno if you answered it before but what H/C package are you going with? Good luck with the car though and the baby!

still looking into head and cam- there is a lot of work involed in picking the right combination for your needs. I would do the bolt-ons first and give yourself time for more research
what do u think so far?
Get a stall converter/shift kit and possibly gears. This is the best modification you can do for an automatic-equipped LS1. Your 10-bolt will fare decently without the shock of a 6-speed. Instead of "the biggest" tires out back, why not look at a lightweight rim/sticky tire combo to get you out of the hole?

i'm planning on having 2 sets of tires and rims. one set for the street and one set for the track. i really like the look of the wider tire on back. so i might use those for the street. the tires for the track will be BFGoodrich drag tires.

niiice. BFG's drags are so much nicer than Nittos in my opinion, and has a softer rubber for better trac.

cool, thats a rare color, Change your fuel filter before you lose your fuel pump. Run a can of seafoam through the brake booster vac line, and use synthetic oil!

A lot of people say many intelligent/smart things here but I have to give one the ultimate trophy for logistics! Think about it, you've got that hard hot cash in your hand and want to spend it, but this will give you that "cool down' period where you (like he said) will have the money and more in a few months and will have a solid plan on what to do. In just a little amount of time here (about a month I would say), I think I probably learned by lurking/studying everything that is said here than I could have done without this site in probably a span of 3 years.

Good advice ICRAZY6!

...And dont forget what Shinerbock said, buy good used parts (at least locally so you can kick the guys azz if he's a fraud) when you can. I have found a few things that popped up for almost half the price right after I bought the same thing brand new.
