Id say around 25K. but since your creating a thread about it and making us guess im going to say around 18K. unless the seller is out of his mind and thinks he has somthing "special" on his/her hands, if they are im going to say around 35K. Yeah it has 3800 miles on it but what good is a car if you dont drive it. that car has probably sat so long the pistons got tired of standing there and sat down.

so i started talkin to the guy and after talking for awhile he says "oh its a salvage title"!!! so i guess the search continues...i knew it was too good to be true
FYI: he said it was a salvage title because it was taken away for insurance reasons or something??? he said it had never been in an accident or anything..?? whatever i dont think i want to deal with it

1st thing is do not ever put 100% trust into a carfax report bc every1 know that you can sometimes fix the car yourself and the insurance companies will never know, so in other words it will never show up on a carfax. in this case it has a salvage title, they just dont slap these on cars for no dam reason something had to have happened to this car in the past whether it be wrecked or flooded but something.

A 5 year old car with only 3,800 miles would worry me. Has the oil been changed more than once or at all? Has it sat for years at a time without being started at all? That car averages 760 miles a year. I drive my camaro more than that in a month and mines in near perfect condition.
I work at a Chevrolet/Cadillac dealership and the ones in the worst condition seem to be the ones with way-too-few miles for the year.

Well it all depends... a buddy of mine found a "35th" LE for $22k. He was really excited on buying it but asked my dad who has been workin on body for 20years to take a look at it before he bought it. It was a fake 35th Micky mouse job.. I've seen some LE's and they go for around $25-$30k where I live...

I bought one last year with 25,000 miles on it for 20,000 perfect condition with lots o mods already done, love the 35th le! and I got a great deal! I would be causcious about the salvage thing though.. Ive also seen them in the paper here in va for round 35... It I didnt love the car so much I would be selling it for a profit in a heartbeat. Maybe I should buy those and sell them here for a 15000+ turn around..hmmm...

Daily drivers are almost always better aside from paint and such. As far as mechanics go the car is designed to be driven and unless you are letting everything that is designed to move, move once a week or so it just isn't gonna be right. These things are not supposed to sit still.
