Nitrous is the best bang for the buck.
7.1s and 11.2s
Oh, did I mention that my motor is stock.

theres gota be something wrong with that how the hell are you runing 7.7s with stock suspension i dont get it??? i could only pull 7.9s with suspension headers lid and gears also the stall...after cam im at 7.5s...

It's the driver man

But seriously, the car 60's really well. Can't explain it, it just does. I've gone multiple 1.5s on the spray and a couple 1.4s

I usually 60' 1.66 on motor. Have hit a couple 1.64s. I'd have to look, but I think 1.64 is the best 60' I've gone. It's all in the converter. Yank 4000 converter FTW

Yep, spraying a 150 shot now.
My first 1.49 60' was on a 100 shot w/ stock manifolds and stock WS-6 exhaust.
And, this car has been wrecked in the rear....before I bought it.

Well, I've come to a conclusion- XER 228/232 .588/.595 110+4

It's a custom grind and everyone I've talked to about it have had only positive things to say about this cam. I'm hoping to acheive at least 400rwhp in my daily driver and 11s in the quarter.

If anybody else has this cam please let me know how you like it!

i'm pretty much in the same boat, i want streetability and 11s at the track. i've got a SLP lid in the mail as well as some headers and exhaust. i just bought the car 2 weeks ago (2000 M6 SS). i'm looking at cams too. i think like the specs of the one you mentioned. let me know how it works out for you when/if you get it!

...or if anyone else has a similar setup, let me know. i want the choppy idle sound and as much driveability as possible.

what are you saying dude? that still isnt that good. He should be running faster.

I always say this, the #1 thing is running slicks and getting a good 60'. the rest is easy.

if he can obtain a decent 60' he will be well into the 11s with a TR 224/224 cam only. stock 346 LS1. and of course supporting mods.

he should probably do LCAs though.

edit NVM I read it wrong, he doesnt have the cam

Yeah anyways, he proves my point. You can run in the 7s in the 1/8 with just bolt ons . with a great 60'

01_ram-air, how long you been running that setup? Just curious as I see you still have stock gear. I had been wanting to do a car with basically the same mods as yours, wondered how long a stock rear would hold.

I've been spraying the car with a 100 shot since 10/05. Just went up to 150 shot last month.

im in the same boat.

i just bought a 98ws6 with ls6 intake manifold and nos dry nitrous system. the car hasnt been sprayed yet but will be spraying a 100 shot soon. i've owned the car 4 weeks and it has shitty BFG DR's, i 've bought: f14 cam, pacesetter longtubes and ory and slp lm1 exhaust. i plan on porting tb, going with a nice valvetrain and ported oil pump.

i plan on having a mid/high 11 sec all motor DD with stock gear/clutch but putting a nice DR on there. i dont have a window switch on the n20 only a wot so i might have to get fancy with my hands and hit the engage switch after hitting second to not spray in 1st.

car has 56k orginal miles...motor/clutch/rearend.

am i looking at a good reliable daily driver with good hp? how long can i expect on my clutch/rear end?

what do you guys think of that?

As soon as I installed drag radials, I blew my rearend out 3 times. 2 sets of gears and one posi carrier. This was leaving at only 2500 rpm! Never got better than a 1.98 60. My mph shows I should be in the mid 12's. Your stock clutch will DIE if your car hooks. Plain and simple. My plan for 11's? Pacesetter LT's, LS6 intake, and a TSP 233/239 cam. Should be more than enough. Oh yeah, can't forget the strange S60 rearend

Look at times in sig see what a little weight reduction, and slicks will get you...I am still STOCK INTERNAL, on manifolds and stock Y with a cutout...gotta love slicks and the auto... 1/8 was a 7.45...get them slicks...haha

yup agreed just cross the fingers for the rear...although on my auto i have over 60 hard slicks passes in the 1.5-1.6's range...might wanna add a torque arm to the list too because after a couple of 1.5's 60fts the tail housing mounts starts to bend pretty bad...at least in our two cars it did...by the way with the CC224 my dad ran a best of 11.46 at 118-9 on a cold day around 3500 raceweight
