You're not going to get a (new) blower on your car for $6k. The complete D1SC package is $8,600, and that doesn't include install or tuning.

 

i'd go with the c6. you can get a low miles 05 for a decent price. my bro bought one about 6 weeks ago with barely over 5k miles for 38k out the door!!! as beautiful as the c5 is, imo the c6 is twice as hot. either way, you can't go wrong, just wanted to let you know that you don't have to spend $50k for a c6.

 

c5 z06. Looks the best, its the lightest, and would be a bitch modded.

Here's where I'm at. A friend of mine is selling his '99 vette with high (120K) miles on it for about $17k. Despite the miles, it's in very good shape (he works at a dealership in the area) I figure by the time the engine bites it, the L92 strokers will be tried and true and reasonably priced. Price is a concern but a C6 convertible is really what gives me a chubby ~!

C6 i think the flip up head lights is super ugly No offense i just dont like flip up head lights if they took that off it would look sweet, but in my opinion i like the C6 more
