Well I beleive any cam upgrade you do, you should also do springs, lifters, rockers, etc and a tune. I am curious to know what all i will have to replace i want to put a 231/231 cam in my car that i plan on buyin off this site , will my stock springs and all hold with the cam or do i have to wait to wait for the install till i have the parts? I am completely stock internals atm

With that cam, you'll absolutely need valvesprings....comp 918's would work. Your stock rockers and lifters are fine. Hardened pushrods are a good idea, but your stockers will work. Probably a good idea to change the timing chain while you're in there too. There's lots of information on cam swaps in the internal engine section.....do some searches there & you'll have lots to read.

timing set, valve springs a must, and possibly pushrods, then lifters do a search but i believe people are using the ls7 lifters but do not quote me on that
