I took the graph, magnified it in MS paint and it barely reaches the 2nd dot, if that. I drew on her a tad to clarify, the TOP edge of the verticle line is at the top edge of dot # 3, or 320whp. Not even close. Much less 327whp.

Very healthy numbers for stock anyways, just no 327whp like it states and I want to know why. Im not saying YOU lied, im just saying hte graph looks off.

david parks, 3rd run, 327 hp to the tires. what dyno operator do you know that will hedge the numbers for some high school kid?

hey kid, here's what you do. take the dyno sheets to kinko's. or your school can probably do it too. scan each one into a computer as its own file as the scanner's maximum resolution. then post the images up here. we'll get some photoshop experts to go over them to see if they've been altered in any way.

right now i'm going with 327 measured. just my .02. i can see the discrepancy, however, this isnt the first time i've seen it, so no biggie in my book.

See, im not calling BS at all, hell, maybe it showed his lowest (heatsoaked?) graph and they put his highest numbers up there? I dont know, I dont think its shopped either, I just was curious about it. I would like to see all 3 pulls though, just to clarify.

can i go to the place and ask if its still in their system? And why the hell would i do all of that to prove you guys wrong....i got out of school(3:20), went to my house to pick up my car and change in my work clothes(4:00), than went straight to the place and got there at like 4:10 and than they dynboed it which took like thirty minutes so it 4:40, and than loaded it on my computer and posted it. So your telling me slopoke that i brought it to kinkos, got it scanned, printed, and paid for it in like 5 min....doesnt seem possible in 5 min..

not saying you did, b/c i doubt you would go to the trouble, but you could easily have changed that in photshop with little effort and in under 5 minutes

BTW i'm not convinced that the graph is wrong, i know on my own dyno sheet i have a hard time reading peak numbers on it, nad i could easily see 10ish hp get lost in the person reading it and/or the computers graph...

No we are not Ridiculous it's just that a stock car pulling 327rwhp is a little unbelievable. Either there's something in the car that you don't know about, or the dyno is off.

p.s. stay in school, the car will be there!

So wait do you go to every person that shows a dyno and argue with them about how the dyno is wrong.......Im sure something is done to it. i didnt pay 60 bucks to go to a dyno thats gives bad numbers. It was a dynojet

p.s. i dont undestand what the hell that means

lol you wouldn't...some dyno's tend to give higher numbers...I think there's a tune in that car or something else besides the cut-outs.

I hate to admit that I have even slightly followed this thread, but with the graph and numbers don't seem to correlate...maybe the peak numbers were read off some sort of spike which is not clearly shown.

Seriously. The kid showed a video, showed the graph, what the **** more do you guys need? 327whp, or 210whp, both are completely believable from a stock-near stock LS1. Who cares either way? My guess is that it has cut outs, and maybe a nice filter. That can be 10-15whp without an issue. I do not think it has been tuned however. Most if not all GM's dive rich towards redline, this is to not damage an engine that has taken abuse for a long time, and hasn't had plug changes, premium fuel, etc all its life. With today's tunes, all they really do is give it a bit more timing, and give it a tad less fuel towards redline, giving slight peak numbers but good numbers from 5000-6000rpm. We can clearly see his AFR start to dive from the steady 13:1 to the redline 12:1 that most GMs have. If it was tuned, it would hold at 13:1 to redline without a doubt.

But again, who the **** cares? Leave the kid alone. He showed his graph, showed his dyno vid, and made completely believable numbers, whether they are 310 or 327.

I don't really like the image some of you are giving ls1tech. The kid has done more than enough, if you still don't believe him that sounds like more of a personal problem on your part than something else he should have to deal with.

mycamaroSS - It might be a better idea for you to drop this thread, take it for what its worth, and move on...there are better places on ls1tech to spend all your time than this bs thread...Good Luck, fellow SS driver.
