meh, this doesnt sound too bad, my car went 13.06 @ 107 with just a lid and a 1.97 60' so i guess its possible... but highly unlikely.

Oh! well if it's got "the naws" then obviously you've been keeping tabs on bottle pressure and have been arming and disarming the nitrous system. Where did he locate the bottle and is it a dry shot or a wet shot?
You probably have a lid, a catback, and a strong runner. That's probably about it. I'm going to guess about 330ish on the dyno. I hope it is a good strong runner, and I hope you do a lot of reading here. I am not trying to be mean spirited, but being realistic will help you get the most out of the car. We're all here to help. If A beats B, and B beats C, then A must beat C right? No, not always.

350z's are turds. ive come across a few "modded up" ones, and they seemed just as slow as the stock ones. and my buddy in the SS cant drive? we both had bone stock automatics, you just punch the gas and hold the wheel strait. not much room for error on that one is there, hot rod?

Call me stupid if you want. A 350z is NOT an even match for ANY LS1 f-body.

What is the difference? why will he only get 315 rwhp and a factory freak get 330, are the factory freaks the 02 models that GM put LS2 engines in because they ran out of LS1's ??? Also is it true that WS6's come with 350hp, but were advertised at 325hp because it was pushing near numbers to the Corvette their head honcho.

You dont need to crush his dreams, he will realize what is what when he goes to the track, or dynos...starts wondering why his times are slower than they should be or why hes dynoing only 310whp, then he will do research. not everyone does 100 percent research over anything their interested in (I do personally but i'm smart ). Seriously though...lay off I get some comments may not be correct or even sane but chill everyone chill let him find out on his own, dont friggin flame him beyond belief
(wow i stared at "belief" for like 2 minutes...its really late is that spelled correctly? I think it is but it doesnt look like it )
Maybe I should join in creating stories I must be going insane anyways

Oh, btw, a WS6 puts out the same horsepower as a base model with an LS1. The WS6 is an appearance and suspension upgrade. The ram air box is inneffective and IAT's don't change even during speeds reached in the 1/4 mile.

I think I'll put in my 2 cents. The Exige is more tuned for the track than the Elise but has the same engine, maybe a few tweaks. I think that the Exige is just a little faster in straight line accelleration than an Elise. So, him beating an Exige by 1/2 car is about right for a stock LS1 F-Body. I've been on the track with an Elise. It beat me up in the corners but got left behind on the straight. So, I too believe that he close to stock. And, if it's got a bottle he's not using it.

i dont get how there are all these bad drivers out there that cant shift.. ok, so launching an m6 is tricky, expecially on street tires.. but from a roll in 2nd at 40, its a piece of cake.. i just shift 100 behind the limiter and ram that ****** in.. now granted its 5.0 with lss but still its not that damn hard.. i was in my friends 99 cobra all bolt ons and 3.73s and i believe they redline at 6700, well he was shifting at 6100 and we lost to this stage 2 neon, so we raced again and i was his shift light and we beat him by 4 cars.. Now i know ls1s have more power throughout the power band where as those cobras were dogs down low but still.....
