So far I have,
slp lid
pacesetter long tube headers
y-pipe
magnaflow exhaust
hotchkis suspension package.

I am thinking about getting a new intake and tb what do you guys think would be a good set up? All internals on the engine are stock I might decided to stroke it in the future.

Thanks in advance

I agree with both of the above statements. If you are not running bigger cubes now or FI then there is no need to replace the stock throttle body. Just port and polish it for better flow. Gears will also make a big difference and they won't set you back too far financially either.

I totally agree.
Getting a ls6 intake is a definite, and p&p the TB, and then get a nice set of MOtive 4.10s, and buy there electronic recalibration gear as well. I would skip getting Richmond gears, because they have a bad reputation for whining at higher speeds.

If I decide to stroke the engine, would it be better for me to get the fast 90 now instead of wasting my money on a ls6?

get some nitrous, ls6 intake would be nice but if you stroke it you probly will get heads and cam and the larger fast 90/90 combo intake and tb

I really don't want to spray my car. I heard it hard on your internals, is that true?

I have said that I dont want to spray my car either. But after time I am considering it. The fact is, anything that you do to your ride is going to be harder on it that what was origionally intended. I mean, It wasnt meant to have a cam with .649/.609 lift, but that didnt stop me. MS4 all the way. As long as you dont spray a 300 shot on stock, you should be good. Even a little 75-100 shot would be good. Just my .02 though. Take it with a grain of salt.

That is true. I guess my main question in this thread is should I get the fast 90 intake with a 90 mm tb? I decied to do some more extensive mods when I am done with nursing school and am making better money. Right now I would be happy to get between 350-75 hp out of the car.

the fast 90/90 would be a waste of money without a H/C combo. your looking at spending around 1000.00 for an intake and tb. you might as well save up for heads and cam and do it then.

and 300 is a bit much for stock. most stock cars do round 150, some 200 with good tunning and all the saftey stuff.

Sounds like a good idea to me. What kind of heads should I look for, I have an idea on the cam nothing to over the top. Like the thunder TR224

Read more about the fast 90mm intake...too much air can cause you to stay the same or even decrease in HP. Dont remeber where I read it (not some bullshit site a mullet head made up with his own knowledge ), but look into it consider going with the LS6 instead, the fast 90mm would be great if you get into FI or even stroked, a waste of money right now though IMO.
