Get yourself a manual cutout, not an electric one. You'll always have an exhaust leak with an electric one. The manuals are 3 bolts, easy on easy off, and they seal perfect every time. Saves $$$ too.

youll see a increase on the top end, supposedly though you lose some torque down low.

My electric (McCord) still does not leak. Been on there
at least a couple of years.

I saw torque improvement only above 5K when I had
stock cats in place. I haven't looked at it after all of
the exhaust mods.

You could go and fish in the Dyno section for any
cutout open/closed curves though I don't know
that there are any.

I have a cut out only. when it's off it's very noticable. When it's closed it just feels a little weaker. It sounds great and it's def. worth the 50-70$.

I've got an electronic cutout behind the cat. That's only a rev up to about 4k.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't leak either. It passed emissions just fine. I really do like having it electronic too because I need to close it if I go through a drive through haha

I've been wanting to install an electric cut-out, are they easy to install besides the necessary welding, do they come with instructions. Thinking about getting the DMH or the QTP electric cut-out, any recommendations?

I have a manual cutout in the i-pipe with stock exhaust. Its pretty loud and i like. I cant wait until my Lt's and ORy come in so i can see what that sounds like.
