I don't know about you guys but I always buy random tools

I go to somewhere like Sears and walk around buying tools.

I absolutely love the racheting wrenches. Absolutely fantastic.

The most common tools you'll need are a 10mm socket,..a ratchet,...an extention for it,...a flathead screwdirver, a hex set,...and a rotary tool. Thats what I use the most.

Not exactly tools per se, but a decent jack and jack stands. It is tough to use all those tools if your car is sitting 5" off the driveway.

Metric Allen wrenches plus a 24mm Allen if you ever get the urge to pull all of the plugs on the block.

Ratcheting wrenches are the best investment I have ever made for tools! Worth every penny IMO....other than that just get whatever socket and ratchet set you can get with a warrenty like craftmen, snap on, etc so when you buy it you buy it once..
