dude, you dont think I know that, Just trying to make him feel good about his ride, which in deed will be a badass ride.

P.s. A 383 cubed LT1 with heads, cam, and boltons would beat an LS1, unless the LS1 is an auto thats stalled.

ive raced 2 different lt1 383's one was mild head and cam the other was cam only and beat both. they may not be able to drive to save their lives but i dont think that was the case since their were 2.

hmm....i had a m6 lt1, totally stock..and i hung with every stock ls1 i raced...it was neck and neck. now ggk, dont doubt your lt they are still good cars lol, and can be made DANG fast...i have a buddy in OKC with a 600rwhp lt car...they just seem to cost more to work on, because the parts you put on them dont give you as much power, when compared to a ls1 car i.e. a cam only lt1 vs a cam only ls1

you must have been racing REALLY POOR drivers. I pulled a 383 stroker LT1 with Ported Heads, well over 600 lift cam, and full bolt on's, by one car length from a 35 roll. He is a good driver. If he would have turned his bottle on, he would have smoked me. We both raced on motor, and both have 4.10's with a M6. My mods are below

Back to what the dudes asking, $125 a month is pretty good for just getting your license on a sports car. I am 29, NO tickets or accidents and full coverage on my SS that stays garaged 90% of the time runs me almost $100.

welcome to the ls1tech the greatest site ever and i do believe that a built 383 will beat a bolt on ls1 car we have small hp advantage but its not the only gm v8 that makes power hell my 355 in my s-10 lays waste to my ls1 granted the 355 is fully built so lets not make this a ls1 superiority thread and for the record ive seen h/c lt1's go low 11's so add more cubes and you have a recipe for speed
