Question Which Lid to buy MTI or SLP...?

I want to get a lid for my car but cant decide which one to buy. I was thinking about buying the whole SLP flow pac but I hear that is a waste of money. So right now I am debating between an MTI or SLP lid. Which one in your opinion will give me better performance?..Thanks

clear looks badass IMO. I sport an LS1 motorsports lid, came with the car, but a lid is a lid, unless you're going for looks. Now performance diff whatsoever, except over stock

I just put my SLP lid on but a lid is a lid and you will notice a difference right away, I would say go with what you like, I would say MTI Clear lid is the **** they are badass looking.

Go SLP, if looks are important yah the clear one will look a little better and it costs more, but the SLP has a great OEM look if you want to keep your car looking OEM and it also has great fit and finish....

A lid is a lid like everyone said... I just installed mine yesterday... didnt notice any gain on it from using one.... I think you notice it more on cars without any mods.... but if you have mods already... not going to really notice it much.

I used the SLP lid

here's a LINK where they test a bunch of lids for performance gains and all are relatively close to each other, I got the MTI Clear Lid and think it looks great had installation problems with it but i sent it back and received a new one that fits perfect

uh, not really, but cheaper than an MTI, even though they look cool, and lifetime warranty on SLP
