something def. isn't right because with an LS1 it is harder to NOT burn the tires than it is to burn them

O.K, problem solved. I went to a rest stop off the main freeway here in Hawaii (not too many places to get on it). Lined it up nice and straight, revved to about 4 grand and dumped the clutch...holy shiite! The back end was on FIRE! I actually scared myself a little! It revved so quickly I barely had the wits about me to shift into second! It left nice double black smoking lines behind me for about 150 feet! I think next time I'll bring a buddy to video the whole scene. Thanks!

I was wandering if anyone was going to post about this before I got my SS. I have never owned a car that was burnout worthy so I was actually scared that I would get to a track and not know how to do a burnout!

I think you need to read my post again. I don't have an LS1 yet. It's getting shipped here. All I've driven before this is un-modded V6's.

Also, I like my tighty-whiteys and so does my girlfriend!

Yea its really hard NOT to light up the tires. I have Nitto DR's and even when their warm I'll still spin from about a 1500-2000 clutch drop!

It's called ESP.....Electronic Stability Program. Most vehicles have them. Switchs off with a simple push of a button.

You're apparently NOT a ford guy...

Emerald....You must be man!!! Have fun with it!
