Default Is getting an aftermarket "smooth bellow" worth it?

I have seen some aftermarket bellows for sale, and I was curious what exactly they do (I am guessing they are used somehow in corporation with the induction or lid) and if they are worth getting. Do they actually increase your HP any?

I wouldn't do it. Waste of $50. And don't do the FERNCO mod either. Your lid will end up cracking and it's a pain in the *** to even get it on.

Its worth it if you want to make your car look good under the hood. No HP improvement.

I took off my fernco mod when I found out it could crack the lid from torque with stock engine mount bushings

It's totally worth it if you're running a nitrous nozzle.

Not a bad investment. Its only 50 bucks. I spend more than that filling up a tank of gas. Like they said it is good for drilling a nitrous nozzle.
