Howdy folks............
Need to know size of bolts for the bellhousing to block on a 2004 5.3L . I'm trying to put a motor I purchased on an engine stand. I don't have the transmission here, or the bolts. While I'm asking, where is the best place to hook up a hoist to lift the motor? Where I bought the motor(salvage yard) they had the motor in a wooden cradle and used a forklift. I was just worried with the composite intake and aluminum heads- I don't want to mess anything up. This motor will be going into a 1980 Jeep CJ, incase you were wondering.
Thanks in advance for any help,

not sure if it is proper or not but i have lifted numerous of these engines by just threding a bolt all the way into the head on the front and back and lifting with a chain from the bolts. like i said it might not be right but it has always worked fine for me and never hurt the motor! dont know about the bolt size sorry
