Default SLP Dual Duals..WTF

Ok, so i was looking at my cars catback the otherday (first time) and i noticed that the left side pipe from the headers and going to the Ipipe was flat and the passanger side was a nice round pipe. Is this normal?

yes all stock y-pipes are flat on the drivers side for clearence purposes. its not specific to the SLP DD exhaust, that actully starts after the i-pipe. disregard it, buy longtubes and an ORY and throw your stocker in the middle of the street. its someone elses problem then.

Depends on what you consider normal. I'd venture a guess that most people on this site don't have a flat Y*-pipe because they already ripped it out and replaced it with something that makes more power (and noise!).

poly motor mounts and a mufflex y-pipe hangar will solve your problems.

Poor stock y-pipe, all alone in the middle of the street, you should also throw your stock ex manifolds, cats, and cat back in the middle of the road to give it some company. I did.

Well I liked the idea of partially flat y-pipe so I smashed down the driver side of my 3" y-pipe at where it hit the floor board. Worked out nicely.

That stuff is worth money... Put the cats and manifolds on e-bay, you'd be surprised with what you can get for them.

The garbageman took my Y-pipe.
