KOOks is the beast for the headers, everyone will point to pacesetters cause they are the cheapest but if money does not matter than Kooks or QTP, do not get SLP they have to many problems. As for the cat, Magnaflow are great or just take them off if you dont mind the rasp.

if you have to have cats, then the magnaflow metallic spun cats are the ones to go for. and yes, pacesetters if you are on a budget kooks or QTP if not.

Just like it was said before me and I'm sure will be repeated after me Pacesetter's if your on a budget and QTP or kooks if your not, I got a catted Y for mine because I've heard that the loudmouth exhaust is raspy without it and that it will quiet it down a bit aswell, I wanted my exhaust loud and kind of refined I like a little rasp in it though, you can get pacesetters and an offroad Y for $500 from texas speed and the same package with a catted Y for 700 from them. I would check out LS1sounds for exhaust sounds, I've always thought true duals sound the best

kooks LT with a nice ORY and some magnaflow cats and an electronic cutout, omg such a beautiful sound, you see a cop shut the cutout from in the car and pray a bit cause it will still be a bit loud

You might also want to look into the edelbrock stepped header. I don't have them but there are a lot of people on here that really praise them. There is a thread that shows the edelbrock next to the pacesetter. It makes the pacesetter look very cheap and wimpy. Search for it.

Dynatech Supermaxx System. This is one off the best systems, all stainless steel with thick *** metal where it bolts to the motor. Excellent ground clearance and no friggin rattles like some of the other Camaros I've rode in. You don't here alot about them but they are first class.

I almost went with the Dynamaxx headers, but QTP has a sale through tomorrow on their headers. Couldnt say no! So im gonna buy their y-pipe when i get home and set it up with a CMMG chambered cat-back... (hopefully) the last exhaust i'll ever buy

i'd thought because the rest of my mods are slp that the headers and y would be better if they were the same

Pacesetters and tsp catted y here, and lovin' it. Bought the headers from speed inc. and got the y pipe from texas speed. Saved some $$ by spliting it up.
