O2 Light Hi Guys I Have A Downstream 02 On The Right Side Of A 98 Ws6 Ta Ls1 I Have Changed It Out With A Ngk O2 Couple Days Later Light Is Back On We Reset The Light Next Day Back On, Cat Is Ok?! They Make A O2 Sim???
i had the same problem around the time i was selling the b4c, changed out the o2's and it kept coming back, ended up being the cat.
are you sure it's the passenger rear, bank 2 sensor 2. i know changing all the o2's is expensive as hell, but it IS regular maintenance and it couldn't hurt.
keep in mind the cat throws the same basic code. the guy at uh oh zone told me that more often than not that code IS the cat, not the o2.
you can use a sim for the rear but not the front. if i were you, change the fronts and see if that clears the light. if not, buy sims for the rears (they're fairly cheap) and it that doesn't do it buy a cat. good luck

THANKS GUYS I WILL TRY AND REPLACE A COUPLE MORE OF THE 02'S, I WORK FOR LANE AUTOMOTIVE, MOTOR STATE DIS. IN MICH. AND THE NGK O2'S ARE CHEAP FOR ME, ANY SIGN I COULD LOOK FOR IF IT IS A CAT??? AND I LOOKED AND SLP DOESN'T HAVE ANY SIM'S, DO YOU KNOW OF A VENDER THAT HAS THEM??? THE CAR RUNS GREAT STILL GETS GOOD MILEAGE 18 TO 20 MPG, SO I'M CONFUSED ON WHAT IT COULD BE.

Hi Guys Here Is And Update Replaced All 4 O2's Before He Replaced Them He Scanned For What Codes Where In And Came Up With A 1416 And 1418 Code Something To Do With Air In The Exhaust??? Sorry I'm A Engine Builder The Ses Light Was Off But The Ride Home On The Hw(15) Miles It's Back On Again Anyabody Got And Idea??
