Default Ram air

About a month ago i got a trans am and it has the ram air hood on it, but it doesnt have the ram air intake.. I was wondering if it would be worth the 80 dollars or so on ebay to get one of the ram air intakes? Would there even be a noticable difference? thanx guys!

What year? The LS1's dont have Ram Air intakes all you really need is a Lid and you will be good to go. Now if its a LT1 car in not sure the difference it will make

Its mostly for looks, your best bet is just to get an aftermarket lid for $100 and call it a day.

Functional Ram air is pretty much obsolete on fuel injected cars

It's not really a true Ram air but when done correctly the WS6 setup makes a good cold air intake setup. Superior to the bottom feeder design of most of the other Cai's done for our cars. If you have the money do it and seal the intake to the hood.
