Default How to remove the front grill?

Hi all,
I bought a nice used stock grill for my 2000 SS from a member here on the LS1 tech and went to install it it the other day. Only problem was I couldn't figure out how to get to the fasteners to remove the old grill with out removing the front bumper cover. Is there a trick to this or am I just slow?
Thanks in advance,
Nick

Have someone hold the bumper and pull on the plastic grill. Mine came right out with a little force.

look at your bumper straight on. on the right and on the left there are two plastic clips, get a knife and put it in between the clip and the bumper and bend the knife toward the bumper. Those two should pop out fairly easy. The other clips just yank them out.. or use a knife and cut between them an the bumper. pull the bumper out some and you will se the connections..

Just put the clips in the right holes.

The grill itself wont be damaged if you do it right.
