Default EGR Headers or Offroad Headers

As a F-body noob I will most likely buy a complete exhaust and lid as my 1st mod. Here is my question. What is recommended? Buying headers with an EGR air tube or the off-road version and removing all the EGR crap? I am in FL so there is no emission testing however I don’t want to over complicate the install. Does removing all the EGR stuff affect drivability? Are their any instructions on here as I have not been able to find any yet.

Any info is appreciated

Thanks

Dave

If you plan to remove the EGR, you'll need custom tuning to get rid of the SES light. FYI.

By removing the EGR you make the install easier and the engine bay cleaner. Also makes changing plugs easy. Only problem is you will throw a ses code. Means nothing except that it is not working. Doesn't affect performance. Getting long tubes by themselves may throw a code anyhow.
