yes the hotter it is the thinner the oil will get, and creating less pressure.

Mine used to be lower, but then I broke my oil pressure sending unit and it went up when I replaced it

It was 60 cold, 30 warm, and 40 at cruise.
Now its 70 cold, 40 warm, and 50 at cruise.

Who needs a new oil pump, just put a new sending unit

I know, when I do my cam swamp I'll put in a ported and shimmed ls6 oil pump. I just thought it was funny that it was off by that much.

FYI.

All '98-'00 use the same oil pump. It is not '98 specific.

IMO, there is no reason to replace the pump in a '98-00 engine unless you're already in there doing a cam swap or you have some serious low oil pressure issues. Just being a '98-'00 engine alone doesn't warrant a pump swap. Tons of '98-'00 cars have 80-150k miles on the stock pump without issue.

Uh, yeah that's bad. 10psi at idle is not good. Make sure that the sending unit isn't telling lies first though.
