Default 2500-3000 rpm stumble

Plug wires?

2000 A4 with 55k miles.

Under about 3/4 accelleration, the car stumbles a bit within this rpm range, then catches and goes all the way to the redline.

If you think it's wires, are OEM's the preferred replacement?

same problem here, 99 A4 is this caused by a misfire or something, I thought it was my tranny at first but the car actually shifts fine, some others have input? I bought some plugs looking into what kind of wires I should get and then will install in a couple weeks when my headers and ORY arrive hopefully this and a tune will fix it, sorry I can't help you man but I feel your pain

hahaha... this happens to my car too.

My car has 60k on it.

I just bought the spark plugs, I'm gonna try to put just the spark plugs in there and see if it will do anything or not. IF not then I will do the wires as well....
