??? about 3rd brake light 98ss Hi,
I recently purchased a 98 SS. The 3rd brake light does not seem to work. It looks like it is composed of about 30 leds. I took out the 3 screws that hold the light to the spoiler and was able to pull out about 9 inches of cable but I never saw a power connector. Do you have to take the interior trim off the rear hatch to get to the connector? Is there a special fuse or anything to confirm that the led assembly is dead? Finally do I have to order a replacement through a gm dealership or do one of the sponsors here sell them?
