header question im thinking of a set of long tube headers for my 01 SS ...........i was gonna go with a set of hooker long tubes a friend told me that kooks headers is also a good brand ....... which should i go with ?? what is the difference ?? any info would be great .....thanks
I've had coated Hooker LTs on my car since 2002 with no problems except for a small amount of rust down by the collectors. They make good power and are reasonably priced, but you can get a set of similarly-performing Pacesetters for less money.
Kooks headers have an outstanding reputation and would be a great choice as well. The Kooks would probably be worth a few more rwhp and are stainless, but they are also somewhat expensive.

i had hookers on my 00' Z, and now im running the pacesetters on my 02!. both were pretty good. but i like the pacesetters alot better. alot of guys will tell u to go with kooks or qtp's but your spending an extra 800 bucks. im happy with my pacesetters. noticeable throttle response, and i actually felt the power pull harder than the hookers did. go pacesetters!!
