The point in this case is, you will only see Z28 badging on a Camaro, but you'll see SS badging on many other Chevys. Nothing wrong with that, just trying to point out the significance of the Z28 designation to the Camaro. It's not just the SS that has a rich history.

Blah. Id drop 50 grand into my car and not put an ss hood and spoiler on it. I like the ss's, but there really is no difference to me. My Z is all debadged and looks really clean like I like it.

LS1 Freak, I can see your deleted posts.
I don't think the SS really looks any better from the factory than a Z28, other than the wheels. Stock Z28 wheels are a little on the small side, but as for the hood and spoiler, I'm fine with having either. It's just not dramtic difference either way, IMO.

That's all about opinion. Yours is no more correct or incorrect than mine. Like it or not.
Appearance = subjective.

IMO (it's an opinion, so read the next few lines with a grain of salt ) the LT1 SS was the last "worthwhile" SS car, they only had two years, and 1996 was the only one dubbed "Z28 SS", not just "SS". Not to mention they had an option (albeit rare) in 1997 for a better motor. I see more LS1 WS6 and SS cars than T/A and Z28s

SS vs Z28 = very little cosmetic difference. The wheels are great, but a hood scoop and a little lip on the spoiler just doesn't make any significant difference in the look of the car, IMO.
I like them equally. You don't. We'll have to agree to disagree.
