pacesetter vs flowtech longtube headers
Aight. What do you'll think. From experience which longtube has the better fittment, price, exhaust flow, resistance from corrosion etc.... i'm looking for some longtubes so i figure i'll come here first. i made a mistake getting the flowmaster cat-back exhaust system. i should have came here first. also with longtubes can i still use my cats. in order for my car to pass inspection i know i have to have the cats hooked up.

Just installed the Flowtech LT headers. The manifold gasket is a POS so I would suggest ordering a good steel gasket along with the headers. You can non use your stock cats, but Flowtech has a Y-Pipe that comes with cats or without cats on it. I went with the ORY-Pipe but for a little more money you can get one with CAts built into it.

I've had both. My previous car I tried the Flowtechs cause they were basically a more affordable Hooker. After going with the Pacesetters on my current car, I have been able to see all the differences.
Flowtechs are made from thinner material, have thinner, weaker flanges, and the O2 bungs are on the outside vs inside for the Pacesetters. This made them extremely close to the floorboards of the car.
Between these two, Pacesetters hands down.
