Nah, I hear you. E-casm just isn't there yet.

I used to have an issue with the DS window on my SS. I removed the module for the Express Down and that fixed the issue permanently. Seems like it was a voltage restriction for it. Also, grease the hell out of the tracks and get one of those rewire kits they sell for window motors. I hear those fix the issue too.

Sealed beams for the lose. I had HID's on my SS.

It's a toss up only between the 10 bolt rear end and the junky window motors.

I get that too, but so far, no probs yeat, and i've had that noise for like 10k miles.

ya i had my motors go out. also when ur VATS starts to go out, the "is my car gonna start this time" game starts and its rreeeeal fun

i think the 4th gens have að few.. BIG weak links,

the A4 automatic..
the stock 10 bolt
the ls1 motor.. (rod bearings!)

and im sorry to say this.. but also how badly the car is made..

dont take me wrong.. i love those cars bad they are not well builded

ya interior quality isnt the best. the firebirds r better than the camaros. not like im worried about my flimsy door panels and loose fitting everything when im hammer thru gears hearing it roar to 6k and bam shift aaaah i g2g drive it now.

You can run 11's on a stock auto. Cant do that on a stock clutch t56. The t56 is overall stronger than a 4l60e, but the 4l60e is not weak compared to other automatic transmissions.

I'll have to vote for 10 bolt. I managed to tear the carrier apart on street tires. Good stuff...

The window motors obviously are horrible too, but they don't stop the car from moving.

I also hate the stock torque arm. Tore that in half too... Definite POS.

120K and nearly 7 years and my window motors are still going strong.

The ONLY reason my rear is still alive is serious traction issues...
