agreed. the diff between 3.73 and 3.42 isn't much. i'd go with a 4.10 all the way.

i had one in my bolt-on 6spd car and loved it.

you can get the gears from any of the sponsors... but i always like to deal with SpeedInc.

Im a M6 guy and I noticed 2 tenths and i also dont top out at 113mph w/ 26" tires at the stock rev limiter like i used to with the 4.11s i had..

It all depends on what your future plans are. my plans are to hit 11.9 on stock internals, then spray a 100wet shot, i would run out of gear on the bottle with 4.11s. 3.73s will allow me to trap at 115+mph

I have 4.11's in a Moser 12 bolt with a M6. I get 24-25mpg hwy 19-22 city. If you don't plan on spray or FI, it's the perfect gear IMO. I would just get a donar 10 bolt for a couple hundred bucks instead of wasting money rebuilding your 10 bolt. Save up for a real rearend if you plan on keeping the car for awhile.

I agree...
Car has terrible pull with 3.42's in 6th gear; 3.73's are only 10% improvement, 4.10's 20%.... you'll really feel that and mileage is still exclt.

I had M6 '00 SS with ARE Stage 3 H/C pkg on stk block (405rwhp) and 4.10's. Consistently got 24+ at 70-75mph. At 70mph it was taching right at 1900rpm's.
