Default Lowering a 01 SS!!!

Ok guys, I'd like to lower my camaro and I dont really know how much I should lower it and what to do, spring only or spring and shocks, any sugestions? How much will cost to lower on parts?

well if you go the strano springs/koni SA route your looking at $1010 in parts. just for a reference.

you can get eibach springs for like $120 and im not too sure about the struts. Probably like 200..

If your looking for just a drop i would sayd an 1.5' to 2' at max.

i did 1.3 in back and it looked fine, scrape my tips every once in a while though

Eibach and no shocks, was kind of on a budget so i only got spring kit. i still havnt installed the fronts,havnt had time to.

Here's what my 98 looked like on DMS springs. It's a nice drop, about 1". Any lower than that and your y-pipe will be draggin on big speed bumps once you get LT's. I'd go with the DMS's again if I were thinking about lowering my car.

I went hotchkis and like it. 1". What are the stranos? 1.2? I wouldnt go more than that. And be sure to at very least swap your front shocks out. Youll pay even more in labor and time swappin em again when the stockers go bad. The rears are easy enough to swap anytime.
